Annual accounts
Directors – let us take the strain.
If you are the director of a limited company, you can share your company’s financial records with us – either at year-end or throughout your firm’s financial year – and we will handle the statutory accounts. We also provide abridged accounts for smaller companies who meet the qualifying criteria.
Doing the annual accounts involves filing them with Companies House and HMRC, the latter as part of your company tax return. We will also send copies to any shareholders or people who attend your company’s general meetings.
Putting together your annual accounts also includes producing a balance sheet to show everything your company owns and owes on the last day of your financial year. Then we need to make a profit/loss account, accounting for all sales and costs incurred in your financial year. You also need to sign off these documents and provide a director’s report.
