Based deep in the Mendip Hills in the market town of Shepton Mallet, BMG Accountancy provides accessible advice, mainly but not exclusively to small businesses, high street retailers and tradespeople in Somerset.

Friendly faces, safe hands
Barry
Barry is the face of BMG and after completing his tax and accountancy qualifications has grown the firm significantly since setting up in 2008. He is always prepared to go the extra mile to make sure his clients receive the advice they need and the service they deserve.
When Barry is not talking tax and preparing accounts, he enjoys walking his springer spaniel, Bonnie, and running for fitness, having completed many half marathons raising money for local and national charities.
Anna
Anna came on board in 2014 after a long career working in the general insurance sector. She keeps BMG ticking over by handling all our communications, enquiries, invoices and compliance. She is the glue that holds BMG together.
When Anna is not organising Barry (which leaves little time) she likes to do early morning off-road runs with friends and enjoys getting away in her campervan when she can. Anna is currently studying towards her AAT qualifications to add value to the BMG empire.
Darren
Darren has many areas of expertise which include planning, budgeting and forecasting which he took from his previous long career as a cost analyst. Since passing his AAT exams in 2005 he has enjoyed working in accounts.
Outside of the office Darren is involved in many local clubs and finds a passion for cricket in the summer with him not only being the captain but the treasurer, league representative and grounds man of his local team Cranmore CC. Darren also loves to keep fit through outdoor running and cycling having completed marathons!
On top of his list of priorities is his family and you are likely to find him in the garden helping out or supporting his nephews football matches.
